Today’s creative designs allow you to add the wooden dining table to even the most contemporary dining rooms with ease. Try out the fabulous wooden table in the tropical dining room to give it a more organic touch or usher it into the industrial dining space to counter the already existing heavy metallic influences. An ultra-sleek table with clean, modern design looks great in almost any contemporary dining space and its presence definitely adds contrast to the sophisticated open plan living. A great way to bring the modern dining room in neutral hues to life, even while using a wooden dining table, is to turn to black. Black anchors these breezy dining rooms, accentuates the key features of the dining space and also allows the dining table to shine through. This can be done using pendant lights, chairs around the wooden table or a classy, dark tabletop itself. Using darker tones of wood for the dining table and chairs next to it also adds to its dramatic aura and turns the table into the focal point of the room.

Combing the wooden floor in the open plan living with hexagonal tiles is a great way to bring pattern, texture and loads of visual contrast. The best part about this is that you usher in all this without ever disturbing the neutral color scheme of the space. The hexagonal floor tile also offers a unique way to delineate space in the open plan living without actually using half walls or even false ceilings. Redoing the kitchen floor and adding hexagonal tiles can be a pretty big commitment and does take plenty of time and effort. Then there are the obvious cost issues to consider. Those looking for an alternate and yet equally impressive option can try out the geo backsplash with hexagonal tiles. This is a place where you can move away from neutral colors and can opt for tiles that are far brighter and attractive. From hexagonal tiles in bold orange to those in dashing black; creative compositions here can give your kitchen a dazzling focal point.

In a modern, urban setting where glass, polished stone and artificial finishes dominate the landscape, a dash of rustic goodness gives the space personality and rugged charm. And one of the best places to try out rustic elements is the kitchen! Even the most modern kitchen can be effortlessly combined with carefully placed rustic features and you need not always go down the route of a full-blown kitchen revamp to get this done. While there are plenty of little tweaks you can make to give your modern kitchen a rustic tweak, few offer an easier option than those floating, open shelves. Rustic kitchen shelving bring a completely new dimension to your open plan living and also ushers in delightful textural contrast. Since most (if not all) rustic style shelves come in natural wood, you also get to add a ‘hip element to your contemporary kitchen.

Glass shelves in the pantry are a rarity since most of us tend to use this storage space in a ‘not so delicate’ fashion. But sliding glass doors for the pantry are far more common. You can use various styles of glass doors to alter the style of the pantry from industrial to modern and Asian to Mediterranean! For most homeowners, it is the frosted glass doors that offer the best solution as they bring natural light into the pantry even while hiding the mess inside… A nifty choice that offers best of both worlds! A spurt in modern industrial homes has seen popularity of exposed brick walls reach new heights in the last few years. If you are lucky enough to have an original brick wall in the kitchen then use it as a backdrop for the pantry. With the right sealant, you have a tidy exposed brick wall section in the pantry that shines through beautifully even when you fill the shelves with groceries and kitchenware.

Amdt Richter Bathroom, 2017-09-24 05:45:11. TONO is a comprehensive and coordinated range of bathroom products that can be used in a multitude of settings, from residential to commercial interiors and everything in between. The ambition was to create a library of bathroom elements in a broad palette of materials and finishes that could be used to tailor any space. As with each of our projects, the process starts with asking questions. We wanted to create a bathroom range that explored new ideas related to materiality and craft, while offering more choice to consumers. TONO has been designed across a broad price spectrum and to suit a variety of scales — from compact bathrooms to larger spaces. Most bathroom ranges have a singular image, but TONO is about choice, allowing for multiple configurations within the same family. The project was a collaborative venture that brought together several companies whose expertise lies in different materials. For instance, we worked with Noken to develop ceramics and brassware, L’Antic Colonial on the stone, and Systempool, who are KRION® Solid Surface specialists. As a result, TONO works across a wide range of materials and finishes, offering greater choice to designers and users.
